Dear Church Family,
At a few minutes after seven this past evening, August 12, 2017, Pastor Burney went to be with his Lord. It was a very peaceful passing. He was surrounded by loved ones who sang to him and read Scriptures as he gently passed from this earthly realm to his heavenly home.
Sandy is doing well but feeling the loss, of course. She would appreciate your prayers as funeral arrangements and such have to be made. Gene, Grae and Tina are with her at this time and will continue to be with her through the night.
I will keep you posted as more information becomes available. Until then, please take a moment to give God thanks for the blessing Burney has been to us through the years. Also, give Him praise for the gentle, peaceful manner in which he took Burney. And perhaps, rejoice a little that Burney has finally received that total healing in his new body for which he has waited for so long.
