I hope your hearts are well into the Christmas season by now. Following are some events you might like to join as we celebrate our Savior's arrival and look forward to his return.

There seems to be some confusion but I wanted to let everyone know that the party is still happening at Sacramento Camp! It will be this Friday @ 5pm at the front porch by the office! There will be pizza, cake, and lots of games! If you would like to stay for the night be sure to call the office and reserve! Let them know that's it's for this so you can get my discount! You can stop by for the party as well and leave that night. I suggest the mayhill route! If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me!

Dear Vista Hills Church Family,Your New Life Christian Academy family would like to invite you to a Christmas celebration taking place on December 10th at 6:00pm.The students want to show you how the animals in the stable on Christmas night might have felt as they witnessed the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord!We will also be singing about the gifts God gave us through Jesus and want you to share with us how blessed we are that Jesus Christ was born!We will all be dressed in our Christmas PJ's so you will feel comfortable coming and see us thank Jesus for His gift of eternal life to us!Please try and come and support God's school; New Life Christian Academy!

Patty will be teaching harmony Sunday's right after church for anyone who would like to learn. We will be learning parts to begin with for a few Christmas Carols. We are hoping to be able to use these skills as we go out caroling around our neighborhood this month.

Speaking of Caroling, we will be using Wednesday the 15th in place of normal classes, and Friday the 24th after the Candlelight service to sing to our neighbors of Christ's birth. I imagine we will be dividing into three groups if enough people come to participate. I thought it would be nice if each group had a banner or large poster with a Merry Christmas from Vista Hills Church on it. Please contact me if you could help create one or more of these. Perhaps we could make a poster-making time together at the church for those interested.

Gracias Christmas Cantata will be performed Dec 21 at 7:00 pm at the County Coliseum. I have some free tickets and brochures for anyone who would like to have some.

We will have our end of year business meeting Wednesday, Dec 29th right after the meal. It will be brief. If you have business you would like to have discussed at the meeting, please let me know by email, text or in writing on or before Dec 21st.

Evening Prayer Team Focuses For December
- Church Worship: We are trying to rebuild worship in dance and in choir so that we might be able to worship Him with all that we are and all we have been given.
- CASA, our little sister church in San Antonio: They had three baptisms last week. Several who do not know Christ were in attendance. Pray for salvations, for God to add to their numbers and for a bond of love among all their members.
- Freedom program: That we will be equipped to minister to those who are bound by our adversary with destructive lifestyles. That God will bring those in search of Freedom to our church.
- Pray for our sick
- Pray for our school finances
- Pray for our pastor.
